IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Renting at the Arvon Phillips Community Center
1.Most of the lights are on motion sensor, so you don’t have to worry about turning off the lights, EXCEPT if you rent the gym; the main lights are in the janitor closet in the 3rd breaker box and are labeled. PLEASE make sure to turn off those lights when you leave.
2.Shoes that cause black marks are STRICTLY PROHIBITED on the gym or racquetball court floors.
3.If you receive a key, the key does NOT unlock the doors, it lets you in. (IF NEEDING A KEY, they can be picked up by close the day before the rental, Mon-Fri 9am-8pm, Sat/Sun 1-5pm.
4.If you rent the gym and you accidentally hit the emergency exit door alarms, the key that lets you in will turn off the alarm and lock the door.
5.Rental fee MUST be paid when contract is completed. A cleanup fee deposit is required.
6.You will be responsible for cleaning up after yourself and setting up for your rental. (There may be other rentals after yours, so please clean up well.) The cleaning supplies are in the janitor’s closet, which is next to the men’s restroom.
7.If you use tables and chairs, please make sure to put them back on the rack and place them where you found them originally. No tables or chairs in the gym without the floor mat.
8.REMINDER: Your rental time HAS to include cleanup and set up time for your rental and we sometimes book rentals close together. We will check our cameras to make sure that you did not come in too early.
9.If you put in a key deposit, you will be able to return the key and pick up your deposit on Monday at noon. This will allow us to determine that nothing was damaged and fulfilled your obligations.
10.There are surveillance cameras throughout the building that we will be checking to verify that nothing was damaged and you used the facility during the times that you specified.
11. Building may be booked up to 1 year in advance. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! A full refund will be given for cancellations made up to two weeks in advance of activity date. Exceptions may be made in emergency situations.
