IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Renting at the Arvon Phillips Community Center
1.Most of the lights are on motion sensor, so you don’t have to worry about turning off the lights, EXCEPT if you rent the gym; the main lights are in the janitor closet in the 3rd breaker box (to the north) and are labeled. PLEASE make sure to turn off those lights when you leave.
2.Shoes that cause black marks are STRICTLY PROHIBITED on the gym or racquetball court floors.
3.If you receive a key, the exterior door key does NOT unlock the doors, it only lets you in. (IF NEEDING A KEY, they can be picked up by close the day before the rental, on weekdays; our hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm and Friday 9am-3pm.
4.If you rent the gym and you accidentally hit the emergency exit door alarms, the key that lets you in will turn off the alarm and will also lock those doors.
5.Rental fee is REQUIRED at booking, deposit must be paid by key pickup.
6.You will be responsible for setting up for your rental and cleaning up after yourself. (There may be other rentals after yours, so please clean up well.) The cleaning supplies are in the janitor’s closet, which is next to the men’s restroom.
7.If you use tables and chairs, please make sure to clean them off and put them back on the rack and place them where you found them originally. No tables or chairs in the gym without the floor mat.
8.REMINDER: Your rental time HAS to include set up and clean up time for your rental as sometimes rentals are booked close together. We will check our cameras to make sure that you were within your time slots.
9. You will be able to return the key and pick up your deposit on Monday at noon. This will allow us to determine that nothing was damaged and you have fulfilled your obligations.
10.There are surveillance cameras throughout the building that we will be checking to verify that nothing was damaged and you used the facility during the times that you specified.
11. Building may be booked up to 1 year in advance. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! A full refund will be given for cancellations made up to two weeks in advance of activity date. Exceptions may be made in emergency situations.
